Current Gigs

The Geezers - 60's tunes played with the deepest affection   (Web Site Coming Soon)
The concept is simple: play both well-known and lesser-known classics with great respect for their original
construction.  Not mimicry, but emulation.  A four-piece (guitar, guitar/keys, bass and me), with triple-play
harmonies, the band can move from Roy Orbison to The Kinks to Elvis without breaking stride.  The target
gigs are corporate and private events, festivals, fairs - "good tunes for good times" shows.

Past Gigs

Jennifer Getz - heartfelt rock & twang   (Jennifer's Web Site)
Jen is a solo songwriter, playing a mean southpaw acoustic and crafting soulful tunes about love, longing
loss and redemption.  The band, currently Jen plus electric guitar, bass and me, has a great roots-rock
sound, and a laid-back vibe.  Don't let the occasional tear-jerker fool you: this band is lots of fun onstage
and in the studio.

Al Polito - guitar rock purity meets sweet sarcasm   (Al's Web Site)
Blend distinctive guitar work with a humorous slant on the affairs of the heart, add a little soul and a few
riff-rock tunes, and there you have it.  A true craftsperson with the pick and the pen, Al leaves it all in the
tracks and on the stage.  Right now it's a trio.  If you appreciate real intelligence in your tunes, this is a
guy well worth checking out.

The Rumblebees    (The Rumblebee's Web Site)
Sardonic R & B by way of Nashville from Mike Zorro and crew, including the Sexy Worker Bees.
I'm on the album "Be Pretty, Be Naked, Be Quiet".  Traps, keys, vocals, arrangements & production.

"Sunday Night Music" Band
My good friend Bill Blanke invited me to join this weekly gig at his church.  A great 3-year opportunity
to play contempo church pop.  I'm on the album "Prepare The Way".  Traps, vox & keys.

The Wheezing Brats
A really fun one-off project with comedian Bobby Gaylor.  Lead vocals, blues harp and arrangements
were my tasks.  Capped by one awesome sold-out show at the late, great "Central"!

Baby Can't Sleep
Cool covers of Motown tunes, 70's R & B and other groovin' faves.  No recordings, but lots of private
V. I. P. parties and a huge amount of fun.  Keys & vox.

Risky Shift
80's wave-riders.  I got to do lots of everything - traps, keys, vox, writing, arrangments, production.
A great learning environment for a few years.  Good players, snappy tunes, some great shows.

Red Shoes
Post-punk space rock with David Baerwald, who went on to David & David and the Tuesday Night
Music Club, and a zillion soundtracks.  Traps & vox.

And, of course, a bunch of other bands, sessions and shows too obscure or too
far back to recall accurately.  The bottom line?  I've been around...
